Software engineer in Bogotá.
White belt on the mats.
I build software at Nicer and write here about what I’m learning — in code and outside it.
Writing.
Notes on code.
And everything around it.

Being publicly bad at something
Being the worst person in the room, twice a week, on purpose.
Projects.
Some mine.
Some built with others.
Norbelys
Cold email platform I build and support. Honest analytics, four SDKs, an MCP server.
Arbol
AI patient operations in twelve markets. It knows who to call, calls them, and proves it.
Nicer
First engineer. I wrote the first line of code and the platform under the advisor portal.
Airline Tycoon
Slot optimizer for a browser airline game. Reads your planning, fills the seats, pushes it back. MIT.
A little about me.
I’m Maxi, a software engineer in Bogotá. I’ve worked across Latin America and Brazil. These days, I’m the founding engineer at Nicer.
I also train Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Being a white belt is a good reminder that you can always be a beginner again.
This is where I leave a trail of what I build, learn, and don’t want to forget.
